Questions, answered
Is the LilyGuides AI detector the same as Turnitin?
No. LilyGuides is an independent tool that scores writing for AI-generated patterns using its own local models. It is a way to understand your draft before an institutional checker sees it - not a replacement for any institution's process.
Does my text get sent to a third-party AI?
Never. Both detection and humanising run on LilyGuides' own local models. Your writing is not shared with an outside AI provider.
What does a detection score mean?
It is a probability, not a verdict. The report shows a sentence-by-sentence breakdown and the statistical signals behind the number so you can judge it for yourself.
How much does it cost?
LilyGuides is free and open source. Registering gives you credits instantly, with no subscription.
Put it into practice
The best resource is the tool itself. Check a draft, see the evidence, and rewrite it in your own voice.
