We are a team of technology enthusiasts, researchers, and software developers, including graduates of Kenyatta University with backgrounds in Information Technology. Over the years, we have spent our careers exploring the massive opportunities and structural challenges created by the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence.

While AI has transformed education, research, and content creation, it has also introduced a growing concern: the difficulty of distinguishing between authentic human work and AI-generated content. Increasingly, students, researchers, and professionals find themselves in situations where their original work is incorrectly flagged as AI-generated, raising questions about academic integrity, fairness, and the future of human creativity.

This challenge inspired a long-term research initiative focused on finding a practical balance between human authenticity and AI advancement in education. The goal is not to oppose AI, but to ensure that human creativity, critical thinking, and original research remain recognized and protected in an AI-driven world.

From this research, LilyGuides.com was born - an open-source project dedicated to helping students, educators, researchers, and institutions preserve the authenticity of their work.

Join the Mission

The challenges surrounding AI and human-authored content cannot be solved by one individual alone. LilyGuides is built on the belief that meaningful progress comes through collaboration between researchers, educators, developers, institutions, and industry leaders.

We are actively seeking:

  • Research collaborators and academic partners
  • Open-source contributors and software developers
  • Educational institutions interested in pilot programs
  • AI ethics researchers and subject-matter experts
  • Sponsors and organizations sharing our vision

If you believe in building a fair and transparent future for education and research, we invite you to join us in shaping the next generation of human-centered AI solutions. Together, we can help create a world where AI enhances human potential without diminishing the value of original thought and authentic creativity.
